Piano chord chart
All 12 major and 12 minor chords on one printable page, each marked on a keyboard with its notes. Below the chart, every piano chord has its own diagram.
Printable piano chord chart
Each chord is shown in root position: the root, then the third, then the fifth. A major chord’s third is four half steps above the root; a minor chord’s is three. That one-key difference is the whole gap between C (C E G) and Cm (C E♭ G), so compare each pair across a row.

How to use these chord diagrams
Each diagram shades the chord’s notes on a two-octave keyboard, so you can see the shape and find the keys quickly. Want to write your own shapes instead? Try the blank chord charts, or grab grand-staff paper to notate a progression.
New to the keyboard? The piano keys chart names every key, and the chord progression chart shows which chords belong to each key.
